Return Policy
General Principles
If there are any quality issues, you may return the item within 30 days.
Eligible for Return
Manufacturing defects only, including:
- Incorrect product made
- Wrong lining type used
- Significant discrepancy from description
Conditions: Report defects, damage, or incorrect size/color immediately upon receipt. Items must be unused, with original tags attached, and unaltered. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
Not Eligible for Return
- Color dissatisfaction/not as expected
- Accidental incorrect order
- Change of mind
- Measurement errors (customer responsibility)
- Color variation due to added lining
- Natural aging (sun fading, fabric wear, component fatigue, etc.)
- Unauthorized modifications or self-repair
- Fabric batch color variations (reasonable differences between samples and finished products are normal)
- Clearance items
Special Terms: Claims valid only for original purchaser (non-transferable).
Return & Refund Details
- Inspection: Examine immediately upon receipt; late requests may be rejected (30-day window).
- Contact: Email info@curtainusa.com. Return address provided via email upon approval.
- Return shipping: If the issue is related to quality, the seller is responsible; if it is any other issue, the buyer is responsible.
- Refund Calculation: Full refund (100%) for quality issues.
- Return Period: we shall handle the refund after inspection within 3-5 days upon receipt. Refunded amount will be back to your original payment method card, and it normally takes 3-7 days to reflect on your credit card.
Warranty & Exchange
Our products are built to last and come with a limited lifetime warranty, covering material defects and manufacturing flaws throughout the product's entire lifespan. Upon verified confirmation of defects, we will repair or replace at our discretion (please provide photos of product defects, damage, or incorrect size/color; items must be unused, with original tags attached, and unaltered).
Important Reminders
- Use a metal tape measure for accuracy.
- Request a lining sample book before ordering to verify blackout performance. "Blackout rate" varies by environment and does not constitute misdescription.
- Lost Packages: No refund; replacement only. For signed deliveries with proof of receipt, no refund or replacement provided.
- For items that arrive damaged or defective, we offer replacement exchanges exclusively. *Replacement items must maintain identical specifications to your original purchase—including dimensions, header type, color, lining option, and all other details.
- We generally cannot accommodate modification requests once you've received your order, so we strongly encourage careful measurement and thoughtful size selection before placing your order.
- Regarding sizing mistakes: If you catch the error after submitting but before we begin production, we're happy to make the necessary adjustments. However, once manufacturing starts, any costs resulting from size changes become your responsibility. Should you find upon delivery that the dimensions don't match what you specified, and you can demonstrate this was due to our production oversight, we'll cover all related expenses at no cost to you.
- Given that curtains are textile products, minor color discrepancies may occur due to monitor calibration and varying lighting environments. Most shade variations fall within acceptable tolerance levels. As a rule, we don't process returns for slight color differences unless the fabric color is substantially and materially wrong.
